About Shahid
Shahid Mahmood Khan is a Manager at Beaufort Associates and a seasoned finance and taxation professional with over two decades of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation and advisory services, including over 17 years with Beaufort Associates in the UAE.
He began his career in external audit in Pakistan, working with Khalid Majid Rehman Chartered Accountants and BDO Ebrahim & Co, before moving to the UAE in 2007 as a Senior Auditor with HES Chartered Accountants in Dubai. This audit grounding underpins the technical rigour he brings to his work today.
He has worked extensively with businesses operating in sectors such as trading, real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, contracting and construction, helping organisations strengthen financial controls, improve reporting accuracy and maintain regulatory compliance.
At Beaufort Associates, Shahid manages multiple accounting, taxation and financial advisory engagements and leads the firm’s team of associates. His areas of expertise include financial statement preparation, VAT compliance, UAE Corporate Tax compliance, IFRS reporting, budgeting, internal controls, audit coordination and financial process improvement.
